How does ausgeborgt.at work?
ausgeborgt.at is a web app that makes it as easy as possible for you and your neighbours to share items with each other. The idea is simple: search, request, pick up, return.
The process in 4 easy steps
1. Find
Type what you need into the search bar: "lawn mower", "roof box", "projector". Our interactive map instantly shows matching items nearby.
2. Request
Choose the time period you need and send a request. You can add a message straight away to sort out the details.
3. Pick up & use
Once the lender has agreed, use the chat to arrange a meeting point. Pick the item up, use it for your project and bring it back at the agreed time.
4. Wrap up
Once the item is back, the loan is closed in the app. A short review helps you both next time.
Lend: Share your things
Do you have things in the basement, the garage or a cupboard that you rarely need? Share them with your neighbourhood!
- Listed in no time: Upload a photo, add a title, a description and your location.
- Full control: You set the price (e.g. free, per day or per week) and decide for each request whether to accept or decline.
- Location & proximity: Your approximate location is shown on the map so neighbours can see how far away you are.
